This photo was taken at a small poolside in Dhakuri, on way to Pindari glacier, Bageshwar Forest Division, Uttarakhand.
There are three species reported in the Indian subcontinent out of 46 species in the world. Glyceria plicata is reported from Afghanistan and Pakistan, whereas Glyceria spicata is reported from Nilgiris.
