The grass is Triplopogon ramosissimus (Hack.) Bor


It is Triplopogon ramosissimus (Hack.) Bor

A monotypic endemic grass to Maharashtra. Now extended its distribution in Gujarat.

looks like Heteropogon contortus.


No it is not Heteropogon contortus.


My thoughts are same as …


We have also recorded this grass species from our area-Heteropogon contortus.


to me it seems to Sehima sp.


It seems to me Sehima nervosum
