Can you please identify this species of turmeric. Could it be Curcuma aromatica, Curcuma angustifolia or some other species. Photo was taken from a herbal shop in December 2012 in Sri Lanka It is neither Curcuma aromatica nor C. angustifolia. Both of them have creamy to ivory coloured rhizome. I feel it must be Curcuma zanthorrhiza or a variety of C. longa. In dries condition it is very difficult to identify Curcuma spp.
