Again, very old pictures of mine taken on 9/2/07 & 16/2/07 in Muscat, Oman.

Small herb seen growing wild.

Interesting calyx cup.

Just a guess….can this be Urospermum picroides, Prickly Goldenfleece?

A small wild plant seen yesterday (25.1.14) in Muscat, Oman with tiny yellow flowers.

Id please.

Interesting flower structure. Probably not seen before.

it may be Sonchus sp

I had posted these flowers before also.
Although the flowers looks the same in the link, not sure about the leaves.
These tiny plants can be found after a few showers in winter, not seen through out the year.

This has been validated by … of Oman Botanic Garden as Urospermum picroides of Asteraceae.
Common name is Prickly Goldenfleece.
