This one too growing in that sandy patch in front of our school.
Need a specimen along with underground parts.
It looks like a Fimbristylis sp. to me,
But a species level id may not be a viable option, though it has similarity to the herbarium specimen at https://science.mnhn.fr/taxon/species/fimbristylis/rigidula#nees
