Asking out of curiosity, I wonder why you add accepted name in bracket everytime you put up a post?


I have copied it from the Catalogue of Life which I am following for the correct accepted names of the species as there are many synonyms. Still I am confused which to follow the Plant List, the Catalogue of life or some other for this.


To confuse you more, there is another website under construction which will be called Plants of the World !! 🙂
I think for orchids, Kew’s Checklist of Monocots is updated till 2015.
