I’m not very sure but this could be Euphorbia riebeckii, seen in the sand.

I think the identity is correct. Euphorbia riebeckii Pax is from Oman : matches with the photos seen in websites.

These pictures were taken at Sharqiya Sands, more famous as the Wahiba Sands in Oman during an outing.
