Dear Friends, ‘Rituraj Vasant’, the king of all the seasons, has made its presence felt here in the gardens of Mumbai………..one such garden Lake View Park in Hiranandani Powai, is bustling with activities…….happy flowers of petunia, marigold, snapdragon, salvia, roses, swaying in the gentle breeze& warm sunshine, giving familiar clues & luring the bees, butterfly, other insects to them………. California Fan Palm (Washingtonia filifera), Foxtail Palm (Wodyetia bifurcate), Manila Palm (Adonidia merrillii), are flowering & fruiting and visited by hundreds of bees….Muchkund (Pterospermum suberifolium) is laden with its beautiful fruits……with Koel’s voice reverberating in the garden……..we invite you all to take a tree appreciation Walk with us in the Lake View Garden, Hiranadani Powai on 23rd February at 7.30 in the morning. The 47th walk is on Sunday 23th February, 2014 Venue: Lake View Garden in Hiranandani Gardens, Powai Time: 7.30 am Duration of walk: 2 hours Driving direction to the garden: There are 3 municipal gardens in Hiranandani Powai, we are going to take walk in Lake View Garden, unfortunately this name is not mentioned anywhere on the gate of the garden. It is situated opp Hiranadani Foundation School and Jal Vayu Vihar Housing Society. From IIT main gate or Andheri (E) stn or Ghatkopar (W) stn Bus 392 i.e. 392 between Andheri (E) stn and Ghatkopar (W) goes via Lake View Park, the bus stop is called Jal Vihar Society Bus stop.
