Cycas sainathii R C Srivast. sp nova : 9 posts by 7 authors. Attachments (1)- 1 MB.

Small trees, c.3m high, some times shrubby, with dense foliage on top.Petioles with small spines; leaflets 28-29×4. 5-4.7cm, shortly acuminate at apices, dark green. Megasporophylls lanceolate, c.39cm long, apices entire margined long acuminate, with c. 6 ovules on each megsporophyll; ovules apically notched, dark green, glabrous.
Holotype: W.B.Shibpur AJCIBG, RCSrivast. cy201 dated 6Feb.2014 (CAL)
