I know this plant, but unable to recall the name now. Yes, You’re right …, it might be planted, my first look in Ooty Botanical Garden, there’s much, Sambucus by any chance?
I agree with … Could be S.canadensis. The problem is the photograph is small and is not expandable to view the details. Any other photo of the same plant is possible, it would be helpful.
