Habit: 1-1.5 feet long herb
Leaf: 1-1.5 cm long
Location: Tirunelveli dist., TN

Please help me to identify this spiny herb of Acanthaceae found in drylands of south Tamilnadu.
I have seen this found all over the district.
Leaf: 5 cm long
Flower: 0.5-0.8 cm across
Location: Tirunelveli Dist., TN
Date: 18 March 2015
Alt.: 102 m asl
