My Pending Identifications: Chakrata- Grass for id:: NS MARCH 16 : 5 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (4). This inflorescence was shot from Chakrata area, I regret for not having any leaf pics or other details..

This grass is Phacelurus speciosus found above 2500m not very common. Found in steep slopes and landslide areas. Good fodder and hence found in areas where herbivores cannot reach easily. We have also successfully tried to bring it to cultivation in Deoban nursery above Chakarata.
