This species of Gaultheria found abundantly in the Yumthang Valley (just beside the Yumthang river) associated with some carpet willows. Sorry for not having the flower/fruits in the photographs.
The red catkins in the photographs belonging to Salix.
The leaves rather look like any Fragaria… … correct, but associated with Gaultheria trichophylla Royle var ovata Panda & Sanjappa. Actually throughout Yumthang valley, only G. trichophylla is predominant and forming a mat! some populations with var. ovata
