some Smilax sp i think Aren’t there 2 plants here? The fruits look like Smilax sp. but the leaves do not. Sorry for the confusion in the photographs (I could’nt get close to the plant.) It appears that the fruits are of a creeper which is climbing on the plant whose leaves are seen whereas the creeper’s leaves cannot be seen.(probably it has shed them) I think it is smilax zeylanica The fruits are of climber Smilax.
The shrub is difficult to make out may be Uvaria or Aporosa? This species could be Meliusa tomentosa (Family- Annonaceae). Fruits image belong to Smilax sp. Smilax climbing on possibly Aporosa |
