51st Tree Appreciation Walk at Godrej Mangrove Centre, Vikhroli

Dear Friends,

Our 50^th Mangrove Walk was one of the most physically challenging and emotionally inspiring Walk as we all discussed and understood the Joys & Perils of being a Mangrove forest…….

All the doubts, myth, apprehensions of it being useless were removed, layers by layers…….we left with our heart & mind full of wonders & admiration for them……and a firm resolution that these floating islands need our lot of love……specially from all Mumbaikers !!

We take our 51^st Walk little further to Vikhroli mangrove …….a part of which is under the loving care & protection of Godrej at Vikhroli……We invite you all to join us for another Mangrove Walk in Godrej, Vikhroli……it will be conducted by Mr Hemant Karkhanis (Education Officer), Mangrove Centre……an authority on mangrove……..

Day & Date : Saturday, 14^thJune,2014

Venue: Godrej Mangrove Centre,

Time: 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Meeting Point: Godrej Community Hall, Amrapali Bldg, Opp Vikhroli station (E),

We will be giving more information on how to reach by car or by bus to the Godrej Community Hall and where the vehicles to be parked, in a day or two.

Please remember this Walk is NOT on Sunday as the Godrej Mangrove Centre is closed on Sunday, its on Saturday.

A group of 30 people are allowed at a time, including group leaders…….therefore we request you all including group leaders, to kindly register you name with us as soon as possible and please do not cancel once registered as only limited people are allowed.

Caution….!!!

Please carry plenty of water, wear cap, apply sun screen, shoes must..……
