Please help me to identify this grass grown as fodder for cattle.

Place: Sathyamangalam town, TN
Habitat: agricultural crop
It seems Festuca pratensis Huds.
It seems to be Sorghum halepense or Sorghum controversum
It is Sorghum sp., probably S.halepense. Pl. confirm whether it has a long rhizome or not.
