Small tree with narrowly obovate leaves, 6-10 cm long; obtuse or mucronate; leathery, pubescent beneath; flowers, small on axillary spikes; yellowish; fruit bluish about 2 cm long.

Sharing some images of the exotic Terminalia muelleri Benth. (commonly known as Australian Almond) fruiting in a private cottage garden in Vasco, Goa. These peanut-size drupes are less than 2 cm in length.
Photographed in the first week of August 2014. 


Beautiful sighting …, fruits are very attractive..
