Yes it is Drepanostachyum falcatum – swollen nodes and ring below the node and greenish (glaucous in young) stems are the main characters to distinguish from other montane bamboos. It may flower anytime as the flowering cycle of 20-25 years is already due. Location: Chandragiri, Kathmandu, Nepal
