       Ranunculaceae Fortnight::Clematis sp. from North Karnataka. : PKA-Jan-23: : 4 posts by 3 authors. Attachments(7)
I had seen this Clematis sp. near Shigekeri (North Karnataka). These are the only photographs available with me. Flowers are like that of Clematis gouriana Roxb. uploads in our/group database, but number of leaflets and leaflet base differ. I have no other alternative. Clematis wightiana Wall. ex Wight & Arn. ??? Flowers look different as per images at Clematis wightiana Clematis heynei M. A. Rau ?? Clematis triloba I think it looks different.
Clematis gouriana is common in this area. Regarding ID unless the specimen is examined physically it is difficult to ID the present posting.
