Photographed from above Cheshma Shahi in Kashmir. The fruits are smaller than sweet cherry and sour in taste. A small tree in full bloom with White flowers seen in Doodhpathri on the 27th April,16. Sorry for bad picture quality due to very low light. Prunus cerasus Many thanks for the id of this flowering tree. Is it the same…….Prunus cerasoides?
I recollect there was a tree close by with Pink flowers.
Due to very low light and a severe hail storm, I could not photograph it.
