Lepidagathis species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available) After scanning flora of Bombay presidency I would say this is lepidagathis prostrata, Dalz in Kew Journ. Boi. v. 2 (1850) Please refer given Snapshot From Book Attachments (1) Good identification …! I think you are right. Thanks … for showing us this interesting plant. could u also check the characters for L. rigida just to understand how L. prostrata is different than rigida…. L.prostrata is prostrate as you described in your table it is spread on ground if it is L.rigida then it should be erect herb. In L.prostrata lower lip is oblong whereas (in L.rigida lower lip is oblong obtuse) Please refer snapshot and illustration of L.rigida Attachments (2) any more modern reference? classification ? key ? usefulness for the ecology, biosphere? anything? Here Snapshot From Flora of Pakistan Attachments (1) I meant peer reviewed papers or reviews in real journals A reply from … in the older thread: “This may be Nelsonia canescens” Found this harbarium scan on Kew Website this might help Attachments (2) Lepidagathis shrirangii as per new publication at Lepidagathis shrirangii (Acanthaceae) a new species from Konkan region of Maharashtra, India .
