Sorbus sp.
Many thanks to … for the probable ID (aucuparia / foliolosa) in my earlier post.

at Valley of Flowers on August 2, 2012

Fruits seem to have bluish tinge but I can’t count more than 10 pairs of leaflets (7-12 pairs in S. aucuparia, 10-15 in S. foliosa) underside of leaf (white in S. aucuparia, rusty brown in S. foliosa) would be decisive.

Many many thanks … for resurfacing the query, and for the genus ID.
I think it is best to stay with genus ID of Sorbus sp. – because the photos do not show the required aspects to reach the species ID. They are long shots, due to the plant being at great distance.
