Reynoutria japonica Houtt. Syn: Fallopia japonica (Houtt.) Ronse Decr. Common name: Japanese Knotweed Herbaceous perennial often reaching 3 m in height, with swollen nodes, leaves broadly ovate, up to 15 cm long and as broad with entire margin; flowers small, white in up to 15 cm long racemes.
