Sorbus wallichii (Hook.f.) T.T.Yu, Flora reipublicae popularis sinicae; 1974 329 1974 (Syn: Pyrus wallichii Hook.f.; Sorbus foliolosa auct.; Sorbus wattii Koehne);

Common name: Wallich’s Rowan

Flora of Uttarakhand- Tree1 for Id- JM: Wild tree captured on 13/8/10 during the trek from Ghangaria (around 11,000 ft.) to Hemkunt Sahib (around 14000 ft.). 


This should be Sorbus wallichii, which has pinnate leaves with leaflets which are blue-green beneath, with a prominent rib. Fruit has persistent sepals.
