Flora of Uttarakhand- Tree1 for Id- JM:
Wild tree captured on 13/8/10 during the trek from Ghangaria (around 11,000 ft.) to Hemkunt Sahib (around 14000 ft.).

This should be Sorbus wallichii, which has pinnate leaves with leaflets which are blue-green beneath, with a prominent rib. Fruit has persistent sepals.

Fruits seem to have bluish tinge but I can’t count more than 10 pairs of leaflets (7-12 pairs in S. aucuparia, 10-15 in S. foliosa) underside of leaf (white in S. aucuparia, rusty brown in S. foliosa) would be decisive.

I think it is best to stay with genus ID of Sorbus sp. – because the photos do not show the required aspects to reach the species ID. They are long shots, due to the plant being at great distance.

Habitat: sloping meadow
Habit: shrub, about 3 – 4 m high; fruit about 2 – 2.5 cm across (not sure)

I think your images of Sorbus wallichii in FOI are of Sorbus foliolosa (Wall.) Spach as per images and details herein.
S. wallichii does not have distribution in the area as per POWO and BSI Flora of India.
