69th Tree Appreciation Walk in Aarey Milk Colony

Dear Friends,

दलहिज पार कर, दिल्ली को दूर छोड़, सर्दी रानी धमक पड़ी बम्बई में…..

 बोली दिल्ली की हवा ने परेशान किया, अब चल बम्बई नगरी में ….

क़िस्मत थी उसकी अच्छी पहुँची Aarey के आँगन में…..

गगन छूते ऊँचे पेड़ों ने थाम लिया उसे अपनी बाँहों में…

कहने लगे हम नही जाने देंगे बाहर, रह जा ईस आँगन में……

वह बोली, जगह अचछी है, बहुत न्यारी है कब तक बची रहेगी बुरी नज़र वालों से….

कुछ सोच,ऋतु राज बसंत बोले…..हम हमारे दम से है, यह हमे सँवारे या ख़त्म करे, हमें इससे क्या…….

तू चल मेरे साथ, मिलाता हूं तुझे मैं गगन चुमभी मतवाले महुअi से, बाँसुरी के बाँस, मतवाली पलछिन वेल से, शानदार सावर से, आसन, बिबबा, शर्मीले अशोक और सुन्दरी से….

Day by day it is becoming very difficult to save the forest of Aarey Milk colony…… the uniqueness of Aarey is in its plants…..(trees, shrubs, herbs)………and their flower tells the tale of this uniqueness….one can feel the stillness of winter, smell of wild air and the excitement of spring in Aarey’s forest…… so as a tribute to its beautiful forest, we invite you all to take a Tree Appreciation Walk with us in Aarey Milk Colony on 7^th Feb,16.

The 69th Tree Appreciation Walk  :  7^th Feb,16, at 7.30 am.

Venue:              Aarey Milk Colony, Goregaon (e),

Meeting Point:  Opp. New Zealand Hostel, Aarey Milk Colony.

BEST bus no. 342 from Goregaon East station ply’s to New Zealand Hostel in Aarey Colony.

And as you all are aware that in forest we have to follow certain Do’s & Don’ts……..Here are some…. 

a)   Please wear dull cloths only……preferably dark green, brown, black. 

b)   No plastics bags or wrappers…..carry food or snacks in boxes which you carry back home. 

c)  Carry Odomos or any mosquito repellent, drinking water. 

d)  Stay with the group. 

e)  Each one responsible for their own safety . 

f])  Take nothing from nature.

    Leave nothing behind except your footprints.

   Take lots of pictures and memories.
