i.d. of Pangi flowers al141011-a: Another one of the Asteraceae…. I’m quite confused between these..
(even the last one I posted is still unidentified)… but anyway here
goes one more for the floral diversity

Location Pangi, Himachal
Altitude 3000 mts

Habit herb
Habitat wild
Plant height 18-20 inches

Perhaps it is Dendranthema weyrichii

What do you think sir…
on the internet.. there are similar images for this species… Could be Dendranthema weyrichii

I am confused of its being wild. It is supposed to be a garden plant, native of Japan and sian part of Russia.

Very interesting facts sir, but this was definitely wild… the place where I found it was 1-2 kilometers away from the last Buddhist settlement on a track which led to Zanskar valley (a few days trek)

Does not match with images of Dendranthema weyrichii at http://botany.cz/cs/dendranthema-zawadskii/ and at Wikimedia commons

It seems like a Dendranthema but not sure if it is weyrichii as the leaves here seem simple and undivided.

I do not think it matches with Dendranthema weyrichii and did not find distribution !
