Aphragmus oxycarpus ?? at Ladakh – July- PKA-01 : 8 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (5)

Had been to Leh_ladakh recently. Sharing few plants from this region..
This herb was seen at Changla Pass (Altitude: 17000 ft +)
Could this be Aphragmus oxycarpus ?? (Family: Brassicaceae)..

I think matches with images of this species of … & … at
http://www.flowersofindia.Ladakh%20Rock-Cress.html

Please check for Pegaeophyton scapiflorum (Brassicaceae).
Google search.

Thanks, … I think it does not match with images of Pegaeophyton scapiflorum at http://www.flowersofindia.Himalayan%20Scape%20Flower.html

Yes … The plant looks more closer to A.oxycarpus than P.scapiflorum.
Another authentic image of A.oxycarpus.
In Pagaeophyton flowers are solitary on thin pedicels originating in leaf axil while in A.oxycarpus flowers are present in a cluster (raceme) on stem.
In … images stem is not visible which prompted me to suggested it as Pegaeophyton scapiflorum. Moreover I am not well versed with flora of Ladakh.

Thanks a lot, …
