Description:
Annual pubescent, glandular, diffuse, herbs, 10-20 cm tall. Leaves radical and cauline; 3-5 at each node, radical leaves 5-10 × 2-3cm, cauline ones 2-5 × 0.3-1.5cm, oblanceolate, acute at base, entire, mid vein conspicuous, chartaceous. Flowers 3-4mm across, greenish-white, in 3-5cm long leaf opposed zig-zag raceme like cymes. Tepals 5, oblong, green with scarious margins. Stamens less than 10, included. Stigmas 3, included. Capsule 2-3mm long, ovoid, seeds golden brown.

This is prostrate sparsely hispid semi-succulent herb. when young radical leaves radiate; flowers bisexual. Found in E.ghats.
