Sharing some pictures for ID ( though not good quality) shot at Bhotechaur Nepal on 28 September 2013 at 5000 ft. Salvia plebeia R.Br. (accepted name) ??? I don’t think it matches with images at Salvia plebeia R.Br. or any other species as per comparative images at Salvia Clinopodium piperitum (D. Don) Press!
Not Clinopodium piperitum (D.Don) Murata, as per images herein.
Not even matching with any species of Clinopodium as per comparative images herein, as the leaves below the flower also look different.
