Requesting to please ID this plant with pink flowers captured in Michigan, USA in May 2013.
Any Bergenia ??
Bergenia ciliata
We would need to view the foliage to get a better idea of which Bergenia this is. IF it is growing outside i.e. can cope with Michigan winters then it will not be Bergenia ciliata proper, though could be Bergenia pacumbis but there are other species of Bergenia in cultivation and varieties to consider.

The plant was seen in a tulip garden, therefore, as suggested by you, it could be a cultivar instead
