Euphorbia epiphylloides Kurz, J. Asiat. Soc. Bengal, Pt. 2, Nat. Hist. 42(2): 247 1873. ;
An unarmed succulent tree which was recorded, up to 1977, as locally common in several localities. Recent surveys have been less successful in locating the species. In total no more than 250 plants exist around Saddle Peak on North Andaman, representing a serious decline from original population numbers.

Shrubs or trees, up to 3 m high. Rare on hill slopes in dry tropical forests up to 700 m altitude. This is endemic to the Andaman Islands.
