Erythrina for ID : 040611 : AK-2: Taken at Colombo, Sri Lanka on the 15th of Nov, 2010.
Is this one and my earlier post the same?
This was also a medium sized tree.

Erythrina crista-galli

I do not think this is Erythrina crista-galli.
We see no spines on the branch. Moreover, from my experience, E crysta-galli is bare of leaves when it blossoms. Once again according to deffintion of E crysta-galli, it has spines, whereas the picture does not show any spines. It is an Erythrina but not E crystata- galli.
Attaching my pictures of E crysta-galli. This however is the opinion of a lay person.

This appears to be E. fusca which has a terminal raceme, the standard is distinct from wing/keel, stamens are excerted from keel. E.crista- galli has short axillary cymes, standard adheres to wing/keel and stamens are hardly excerted. … pictures seem to be E. suberosa.

It may be E.subumbrans
