Does anyone know the name of this flower, especially the upper left blossom with bent petals that look like a pinwheel?  This detail is from a mid-17th century Mughal manuscript with northern Indian flowers depicted.  It may be an imaginary flower, but any suggestions of what it might be based on would be greatly appreciated.

That’s an interesting query.

This could be imaginary, but I would say flowers look like an Apocynaceae or Clematis.
In fact in china during some traditional events they put such pinwheel plastic flowers on the plants.
