Request of Latin names vis-a-vis Khasi names : 4 posts by 3 authors. Could anybody please give me Latin names of the following Khasi plant names. Bat jakold / Bat thyllieh miaw / Edible jasim = wild / Krai khlaw = bird seed / Ri-ran – shim. The only way out for you is to consult Flora of Assam by Kanjilal et al. and find out whether these names are included there for some plant. If you find it there, then you can get the Latin (Botanical?) names.
