Let it open. The spur looks a bit different from biermanniana.

Thank you … but it is too far away, around 150 KM.

Not possible to have the flowering image.

I can truly understand. By any chance do you have a list of Platanthera found in Nepal. I only have Bhakta’s Orchids of Nepal which doesnt have this species of yours.

Thank you …

It is in page 221 on the lower part of the page.
By the a way sending you the link for your reference.

Not easy to follow that list from China which has 42 species and I dont even know how open flowers look like. But the spur in your picture looks like less than the length of labellum.

What was the height of your plant?

Just in case you if dont have this.

I would then accept your name Platanthera biermanniana with spur almost same or shorter than ovary, 3 to 4 leaves with deep veins, green-yellow flowers. Now I understand your point because I was thinking it is a bud on the top, but, actually its a open flower (thats the way they are in Platanthera biermanniana).

WCSP shows it as a syn. of Peristylus biermannianus (King & Pantl.) X.H.Jin
Similarly other species kept in efi under this genera are in some other genera as below:
Platanthera clavigera Lindl., Gen. Sp. Orchid. Pl.: 289 (1835) syn. of Herminium clavigerum (Lindl.) X.H.Jin, Schuit., Raskoti & Lu Q.Huang, Cladistics 32: 210 (2015).
Platanthera edgeworthii (Hook.f. ex Collett) R.K.Gupta, Fl. Nainital.: 349 (1968) syn. of Herminium edgeworthii (Hook.f. ex Collett) X.H.Jin, Schuit., Raskoti & Lu Q.Huang, Cladistics 32: 32: (2015).
Platanthera latilabris Lindl., Gen. Sp. Orchid. Pl.: 289 (1835) syn. of Herminium latilabre (Lindl.) X.H.Jin, Schuit., Raskoti & Lu Q.Huang, Cladistics 32: 210 (2015).
Should I correct them in efi as per this latest publication ?

No need to correct for now. Some how it is not agreeable!

Secondly it’s not wrong identification it’s just new synonym so not a big deal right now.
