Please help me with ID of an aquatic plant, quite a few of them standing close, about 5 – 6 ft tall. The inflorescence is carried at apex of an extra long slender branch (or stalk), about 10 – 12 ft long. The flowers are pendulous. Those familiar with ornamental aquatic plants, must be knowing the ID because of some tell-tale aspects of this plant.

Thalia geniculata L. [Marantaceae].

Thalia geniculata of Marantaceae, an exotic from Thailand.
