Fwd: Request to identify the following legumes from Nagaland : 7 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (2)- 3 Mb or more

As I had informed you earlier about my visit to Shillong and Nagaland. I had collected few legumes there. Kindly help me in their identification.
I am sending you in series.

Identified as Desmodium as per another thread: Req: Native Legume for identification
Pl. check comparative images under Desmodium

To me appears close to images at Desmodium heterocarpon (L.) DC.

You seems to be right. Pods seem bigger here.
There is one similar genus to Desmodium. I am not getting the name now.

Pl. look for other genera similar to Desmodium.

It is Codariocalyx gyroides (Link)Hassk.

Earlier known as Desmodium gyroides.

Do you agree with the id?

I am looking details of the genus suggested. Hope … has identified correctly.

Is it Mucuna pruriens? I don’t know.

From the figure it seems to be a Desmodium

From pods it appeared species of Desmodium

But I am interested in species. This any is perrenial, bushy having height of 6-7 feet. Habit little rocky.
Seen growing near Tephrosia candida.
Flowers September to November.

Pl. check Desmodium
