Dysoxylum Sp.(Meliaceae) from Shillong: This in my opinion is not Dysoxylum but Tetradium fraxinifolium (Rutaceae) I think it will be Tetradium fraxinifolium
Location: Telkot, Nagarkot, Nepal
Date: 27 October 2018
Elevation: 5000 ft.
Habit : Wild Fruit smelling like Zanthoxylum.
Pl. check species available at Zanthoxylum, if so.
It is a big tree and no spikes. Just fruits smelling like that. I tried all listed in Nepal but does not seem matching with any.
Rhus sp.??
Does not appear so as per comparative images at Any idea about the family ? Rutaceae ? Anacardiaceae ?
No match !
Could it be a member of Verbenaceae?
No idea! Brings to mind Disoxylum (Meliaceae) but probably is not. Also suggests Grewia lobed fruit, but is not this either. Evodia fraxinifolia
Thank you …!
Tetradium fraxinifolium (Hook.) T.G.Hartley

Tree from Nagaland : 10 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (1)- 4 mb. Please identify the tree from Phenk (Nagaland) Can it be some Grewia species ? It is definitely not any Grewia.
But it appears to be some sort of Ixora species to me. May be closer to Ixora brachiata? (Not sure though. Please ask some experts about it).
Also, I would like to know the correct identity if someone pointed out. No Grewia, it can be some burseraceae! Tetradium fraxinifolium (Hook.) T.G.Hartley
Syn : Euodia fraxinifolia (Hook.) Benth.
Evodia fraxinifolia (Rutaceae)
