Photographed at Ooty Very beautiful plant, never seen, thanks … for a nice addition to eFI.. Photos do not show a Leptospermum … this is a species of Sannantha- from Peter Wilson ji as per comment at Leptospermum trinervium (Cultivated) I think Peter Wilson is right. Leptospermum and Sannantha are very close. This plant looks close to the popular garden plant Sannantha virgata. Leptospermum virgatum is a synonym. But this is not listed as per Flora of peninsular India.
I am not sure if all cultivated species would be listed in Flora of peninsular India. Only species which are naturalized, would be listed here. It was a cultivated plant. ID suggestions are anyway welcome. I would be happy to know if it has a different identity. It is better that you first rule out the listed species One of the listed species, Leptospermum stellatum Cav., is a synonym of Leptospermum trinervium (J.White) Joy Thomps.
