… as per Eflora of India BSI
S. divaricata (DC.) Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 3: 418. 1881, nonTurcz. is S. virgata. So we can take it as S. virgata.

Crepis flexuosa (DC.) Benth. : 4 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (5)
Sharing some pictures I guess is Crepis flexuosa (DC.) Benth. shot on the way to Khardung La Leh on 22 August 2014 at 12000 ft.
However, I am a bit confused regarding the altitude as different altitudes given in the FoI and eflora Nepal.

Pl. also check with … images from Ladakh at Youngia tenuifolia ?

Does not appear to be Crepis flexuosa to me. What I first thought it might be does not seem to fit.  I shall look into this further.

According to the altitude of the plant habitat could it be Crepidifolium tenuifolium (Willd.) Sennikov syn : Youngia tenuifolia (Willd.) Babc. & Stebbins. ??

I have made progress recognising both Crepis flexuosa and Youngia tenuifolia. I can now say with confidence that this plant photographed on the way to Khardung La matches neither! But I cannot place it yet.  Does not seem to fit any of the Asteraceae listed by Dickore & Klimes from Ladakh…..   Must go through Stewart closely to see if any other possibilities exist or just this is a variant of a species I am not familiar with yet.

For me it looks like Crepis flexuosa (DC.) Benth. but cannot confirm.

Scorzonera virgata DC. ??

Yes, appears close as per Scorzonera virgata DC.
