Yes the insect actually carried the pollinarium on its head with some scattered pollen grains.


yes, … flickr has had several pictures of Orchid bees with complete pollinaria stuck on their backs. do they get unstuck when the bee goes to other flowers? if not does it fall off later without any help?


Yes mam, they get stuck on the stigma when the fly reaches it on same flower or another flower.
