Please look at Camellia sasanqua; they bloom earlier than some others.

Pl. check Camellia sasanqua ‘Setsugekka’, you have suggested in another post from Atlanta. Pl. see https://www.flickr.com/photos/jimatkins-sr/30886186377 These white flowers were very close to another plant with light pink flowers named as Camellia sasanqua ‘Daydream’.

Common name: Sasanqua camellia
Evergreen shrub differing from C. japonica (leaves 5-10 cm long) in smaller leaves 3-5 cm long, bluntly pointed (vs. acuminate), smaller flowers less than 5 cm across with obovate petals (vs. 7-12 cm with rounded petals) and pubescent ovary (vs. glabrous).
