Photographed at Shahapur last weekend (16.7.13). Please identify this fungus.
Large, about a foot across. Looked something like what Bear Grylls of ‘Man vs. Wild’ fame would call a “Tinder Fungus“.
Maybe Phellinus sp….
it does look like a Tinder Fungus to me.
