THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS IN august 2010 Could this be Lentinus sp.
I’m sure … can shed some light on this.. This mushroom is not Lentinus (or commonly shiitake) by any mean
kindly see the description of the mushroom from the link below to confirm.
Probably its Russula sp or something quite close to it. I am not very sure of the ID.
