Same plant

Since the rhizome is ivory coloured it may be Curcuma picta. I have deleted the earlier mail with plant and inflorescence. PL. forward the same.

The inflorescence is used as a vegetable by the local people. It grows wild near paddy fields.

C. picta ?

That is what … has stated.
