Is it possible to identify the Species?
Vaccinium caesariense ?? May be Vaccinium caesariense as suggested by … as per
seems cultivated. not unplanned native growth. there is mulch. branches have been strategically pruned. fruits on the lower/near the ground branches, it seems. still could be the native Vaccinium caesariense.
ps if cultivated, only the owner will know which variety he planted?
Yes this is in a backyard of my friend’s house.
But unlikely she will know the Species. She only likes to grow plants, not interested in the names.
that’s ok, … so we will never know.
i wish the gardeners would just leave the label near the plant, now they are printed on durable plastic coated paper,
better still its a matter of throwing them in a bowl in a drawer in garage, kitchen or by the barbeque pit in the backyard.
there iare so many options and space in an american home.
i know people who tape them in notebook with store name, price and date etc. and some keep meticulous growth notes and garden lay outs etc. ah, well. it takes all kinds.
