This one might be Elatostema rupestre Thank you … for the ID.
I have some confusion according to the keys of Elatostema rupestre !
Size of plant is around 35 cm, stipules lanceolate, 10-15 × 3-5 mm – but less, petiole 1.5-5.5 mm – no petiole noticed, abaxial surface sparsely strigillose along nerves, adaxial surface sparsely hirtellous – did not notice, peduncle ca. 1 mm– but longer, Fl. May – From July .
This species is very confusing for me since it was recorded in Flora of China but later removed from its list. So I don’t well understand on what it really looks like but based on my previous observation of specimens that indentified as this name your images more or less matched. On the other hand, your images don’t look like any other species to my knowledge. So I gave the identification as might be rupestre. Any possibility of new sp.?
Not sure. There are many recently described species from Yunnan and Xizang, China. Most of them I have little knowledge. I think if could distinguish from them, there would be possible a new one. I have am forwarding some images of my herbarium and I find the
petiole is not present.
4 images- 2 to 7 mb each. After checking specimen you attached, I realized it is more similar to Elatostema dissectum. Normally, E. dissectum will have longer male peduncle but the shortest case can be 1.5 cm. In addition, I have also gone through Elatostema in China but could not find any other species same to your collections. Anyway, your collection is very special and worth further studying.
I am sorry to trouble you again. I feel it is slight different from my earlier post Fwd: SK1185 08 JUNE 2018 .
And, also feel some differences according to the keys from Elatostema dissectum.
Male inflorescences peduncle 15-80 mm and Female inflorescences peduncle 0-1 mm which looks different in my specimen.
I may be wrong though!
For SK1185, I can confirm it is E. dissectum. And I meant that your collection is more similar to E. dissectum. I have no idea to what it really is. It might be a new one.
To me appears close to images and details at Elatostema pseudocuspidatum
Pl. see your identified thread from the same place at SK 2145 24 August 2019 If we could establish, it will be a new to Nepal sp. . SK1553 09 Nov 2018 : 5 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (10)- around 500 kb each. Location: Okharpauwa, Nuwakot, Nepal

Pl. check with species available at
Elatostema sessile J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. ??
May. I am not sure as per images at
Pl. check other species in efi also.
On detailed checking with keys, specimens and descriptions in Flora of Bhutan, Catalogue of Life, Flora of China, FOC illustration, GBIF and Checklist of Nepal for about two hours, I feel it is close to Elatostema cuspidatum Wight var. cuspidatum.
Elatostema sessile J. R. Forster & G. Forster as listed in Check of Nepal and Flora of Bhutan (1983), is not distributed in these areas as per Catalogue of Life; However, Elatostema sessile var. cuspidatum (Wight) Wedd. synonym for Elatostema cuspidatum Wight is given distribution as China (NW-Fujian, W-Guangxi, Guizhou, SW-Hubei, Hunan, SW-Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan), S-Tibet, NE-India, Nepal, Myanmar [Burma], Bangladesh. Also Elatostema sessile var. cyrtandrifolia (Zoll. & Mor.) Wedd. synonym for Elatostema cyrtandrifolium (Zoll. & Mor.) Miq. is given distribution as China (Fujian, S-Gansu, N-Guangdong, W-Guangxi, Guizhou, W-Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, SE-Yunnan), Taiwan, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar [Burma] (Kachin, Sagaing, Shan), Sikkim, Laos.
It is similar to your another thread: SK 2145 24 August 2019 This is the one we discussed earlier. Elatostema pseudocuspidatum. It should be new record to Nepal. Thank you …, I need to discuss with experts from Nepal about its inclusion . I think you and … can publish a suitable paper in this regard. For this species I suggest to do some further work such as specimen checking under dissecting microscope to show the details of inflorescence and stipule and leaf surface. I can compare with type of E. pseudocuspidatum if there is no difference then we can confirm with more confidence. . SK 2145 24 August 2019 : 11 posts by 3 authors. This is the opinion of my collaborator …: ‘Elatostema dissectum. However, the peduncle is shorter than normal. Do you know the length of this species?’ If you could provide an estimate of the peduncle length this would be helpful. Thanks a lot, … I feel peduncle may be around 3 to say 6 mm (just a guess).
What would you say about Elatostema cuspidatum Wight var. cuspidatum as per Flora of China, FOC illustration, GBIF ? I made a carefully checking with Chinese Elatostema species. I found a species E. pseudocuspidatum fits your images better (Please see attached). I also attached image of E. cuspidatum showing the difference. E. cuspidatum has wider stipule with one green nerve in the middle of stipule. The margin is also different. Hope this can help you. I shall try to visit the location in a couple of days and get the measurements. Elatostema sessile? This has already been identified as E. pseudocuspidatum by … . Location: Shivapuri, Kathmandu

Habit : Wild Elatostema. … ??? I am not sure. Check Elatostema acuminatum. I guess Elatostema acuminatum (Poir.) Brongn. is the correct ID I find it more closer to images at Elatostema pseudocuspidatum W.T.Wang Any validation or otherwise for Elatostema pseudocuspidatum W.T.Wang ? Cannot say … since it has got no distribution in Nepal like a couple of earlier posts ! This one might be Elatostema rupestre. Or is it … has suggested Elatostema rupestre ! Yes. To me looks different and close to the species stated by me.
