The website Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin by P. M. Eckel has recently exceeded 9000 entries. A large percentage of the entries are mini-essays on use of Latin terms and English equivalents. It is a work in progress, but should be useful to both botanists and zoologists interested in the early literature of their fields. The Latin words are usually exemplified with a sentence from the actual literature and its English translation.
