Cercis occidentalis Torr. ex Gray

Common name: Western Red bud
Differs from C. canadensis in orbicular leaves rounded or emarginate at apex and from C. siliquastrum in smaller leaves coriaceous, less than 10 cm broad, and smaller flowers 10-15 mm long.
