Common names:  Lesser burdock, Little burdock  
Native of Europe introduced elsewhere, differing from A. lappa (heads 2.5-4.5 cm across, on  long peduncles) in smaller heads 1.5-3.5 cm across, mostly sessile or short peduncles forming racemes.
